Departments FAQ

Read this if you are not sure which care to choose.

  • How do I choose the right department?
Choose based on where your symptoms bother you most. If your ear feels blocked or you have tinnitus or dizziness, start with detailed ear care; if nasal congestion, a runny nose or sneezing keeps coming back, start with nose care; for a sore throat, a hoarse voice or mouth ulcers (stomatitis), start with throat care. If needed, we will also guide you to other areas during your visit.
  • Do I need separate visits for rhinitis and allergy tests?
Rhinitis symptoms themselves can first be checked in nose care. If they keep coming back or the allergen causing them needs to be identified, we recommend allergy tests such as MAST or ImmunoCAP. The right test and treatment plan can differ depending on how long you have had symptoms, whether they are seasonal, and whether you also have skin or respiratory symptoms.
  • How am I seen if I have ear, nose and throat symptoms together?
Visit and check in during our hours, and we will look at them together in a single visit. If it is hard to choose which care you need, call the clinic and we will guide you.
